Why Do I Need You? Can't I Do This Myself?

Well, yeah, you probably could. However, the PResto staff has experience and training that you do not. We know how to write proper press releases that provide the media with the information they need in the format they want. Employing our services increases your chance of getting noticed and generating media interest.

How Much Does It Cost? Which Release Is Right For Me?
|
First, there is a $10 set up fee to write your "boilerplate," a reusable section that provides detail about your or your company at the end of the release. If you have used us before we can re-use the boilerplate and you will not pay this fee.
For non-magic industry releases or releases that need to be distributed in your local area we suggest the Release Only option, which is $29.95. We will send you a brief guide to distributing your release with your final copy.
If we are distributing your release to the magic media as well as writing it then it is $39.95. If you want to distribute your release further, let us know and we will include the self distribution guide.
If you plan on needing many releases over time contact us to discuss bulk pricing.

How Does This All Work? What Is The Timeframe?

It is a pretty simple process. Select your option and pay us. Then, download the questionnaire, complete it and email it to us. We will write your release within 2 business days and return it to you for approval. Any corrections will be handled within 1 business day and we will distribute your release on the date you choose.
Remember, if you are aiming mainly at print media they may need weeks of notice before your information makes it into their publication. In general, give media notice at a time equal to three times their publication period. This means give monthlies 3 months notice, weekly publication at least 3 weeks and dailies 3 days. This is just a guideline for your distribution; of course you probably want to add a little extra time before events so readers can purchase tickets, etc..
