How much do your services cost? How long does completing a project take?
That entirely depends on the complexity of your project. Everything is unique. Contact us for a free consultation and estimate that addresses both cost and time. You can find examples of our base prices here . We do have a few special pricing packages, such as highlight reels created from existing footage. Visit the Specials page to learn more. Who owns the rights to my video? You do! It is yours to broadcast, copy (we recommend Disc Makers), sell or give away. If you use a piece of it in another project in the future, we would appreciate a mention in the credits (if there are credits). Do you require a deposit? We do on larger projects. If we shoot the footage for your video, the deposit will cover the shooting costs. I have footage already; can you use it? Yes; in fact highlight reels are usually entirely made of existing footage. We can take footage on miniDV, digital 8, hi 8 and VHS tapes and DVDs. We can take most digital file formats. You must own the rights to the footage or have written permission to use it. I have specific music I want to use. Is that okay? If you own the rights to the music we can use it. Otherwise, you will have to pay a licensing fee to obtain permission or use royalty free music. We maintain a library of royalty free music for our projects. Do you print/duplicate DVDs, CDs, etc..? We can, but honestly we are usually not the best choice. Many of our customers plan on duplicating their video themselves as they need copies. If you only need a couple of copies, we are happy to create them for you but if you need more than a few it makes much more sense to deal with a firm specializing in disc duplication. We recommend Disc Makers and are a member of their partner program. |
